Agreed, but Carolyn Jones is most other roles doesn't appeal to me. I guess that means she was a good actress.

Same with me. I've seen her in quite a few movies from the 1950s, and I thought she was okay looking, but as Morticia, with that tight black dress and long hair, she was a knockout.
