It probably would have been as horrible as Munster Go Home was. Besides, didn't you hate that 1977 reunion movie on NBC? It's on You Tube in full and I couldn't watch very much of it. Lisa Loring even said on the commentary that she thinks the writer should have been shot.

Probably because Universal owned The show, the characters and the concept of The Munsters.
