X men idea
For me, it s clear that stan lee was vastly inspired by this film to create Charles Xavier and the character cyclops, the main character of early x men crew. Both media was created in september 1963.
Any thoughts??
Maybe. I've for a long time thought that "X-men" signified "ex men" as in beings who are formerly human per having mutated into something else. Perhaps the "ex" was reduced to simply "X" since the single letter carries more meanings: from "removed" to number ten to "rejected" to cross to intersection to χ (chi) to algebraic unknown to multiplication, even short for X-ray.
