Question please. Is this the movie....

I am trying to remember if this is the movie I watched on TV years ago when I was very young.
I remember a scene where an old man is walking around and he's either fooling around with a
radio held to his ear, or his hearing aid.
The family is chopping down huge trees and the old guy can't hear anyone, and walks in the path of a falling tree and gets crushed. I remembered Henry Fonda was in it, so I think this is it.
Is this that movie?

If so, its the one scene that has ALWAYS stuck in my head! It was so sad and freightening.

the grandpa was listening to an old music box that was his as a child and he had just found it and was listening and bang. tree.

it was an old toy bank. he was shaking it and listening to it rattle b/c something was inside.

wow i had totally forgotten until reading this..that is the only scene i remember from this movie that i saw on tv as a child!
