Filthy Movie!

I just said that to get your attention, but SPENCER'S MOUNTAIN was a surprisingly frank movie when it came to some of the sexual references used. I mean, this was 1963, and Playboy Magazine was just barely showing breasts. The Production Code still was in effect, if not so rigorously enforced as it had been ten years earlier. They may seem innocuous now, but for a "family movie" of that year, this was pretty racy stuff.

Here's the question: Can anyone name a mainstream, big-studio Hollywood film released before SPENCER'S MOUNTAIN (May 1963) in which the word "sperm" is used in the dialogue? Not looking for prurient responses -- just curious about the ways in which the Production Code Administration gradually relaxed the industry's self-censorship.

I haven't seen this movie in years but from time to time I can't help but think that Mimsy Farmer portrayed one of the horniest girls that I have ever seen in any movie and I have seen a lot of movies.

I couldn't help but feel sorry for Clay-boy because this girl was sure ready to pounce.
