This may sound like a stupid question, but is this the only Pink Panther movie with the diamond in it? I have only seen Pink Panther Strikes again, but that had nothing to do with the diamond. And most of the other movies have the words Pink Panther in the title, but I don't think they have the diamond in them or am I wrong? Is it just a joke that the title was The Pink Panther Stikes Again?

The Pink Panther is about the diamond. As the previous post said two of the later movies used the diamond as a starting point to get Closeau involved. All the films about Closeau, except A Shot In The Dark, have Pink Panther in the title so the public will know what to expect. I guess that worked, A Shot In The Dark is the least known of the movies.
