In which sequel is the Pink Panther Diamond used to make a laser? Is it the doomsday machine in "Strikes Again"?

i don't think the Pink Panther diamond is ever used for such a thing... there is a doomsday machine in Strikes Again, but the diamond has nothing to do with it... maybe you're thinking of a James Bond film... they used diamonds to power a sattelite weapon in Diamonds Are Forever... other than that, i'm not sure... the Pink Panther diamond is only ever stolen, though... never really used for anything...
