I can't remember which Pink Panther movie it's in but there was a scene Clouseau told Cato "Cato to The Silver Bullet!" A garage door opens and you hear this loud and powerful sounding car come out with the engine revving over and over. The car stops and falls apart! I only remember seeing it once or twice but it was hilarious! I'd like to know which movie it was in and what kind of car it was!

i think perhaps you mean The Silver Hornet, which appeared in Revenge of the Pink Panther... couldn't tell you what model car it was based on, but it was a custom car of some sort...

It was an awfully customized car and a terrible, unfunny and unnecessary bit. I keep wondering what was Edwards thinking...maybe he thought it would be fun for the kids in the audience, but I'm sure everyone, even the younger ones, could've done without that. It's not like Clouseau is a Disney/comic book character or something...
But then Revenge of the PP is my least favorite of the real panthers...
