Just......Wrong

I know times were different and there was this absurd notion that a working man even by the age of 50 is more or less entitled to be with a young woman of 20.

The case here is a 50 (looks more like 60) year old Peter Sellers swooning the gorgeous italian babe Claudia Cardinale, he looks old enough to be her grandfather and she's totally head over heels for this guy. I found this to be uncomfortable, innappropriate and unbelievable.

She would've been a much better match for a young handsome Robert Wagner in the film.

(please don't nit pick little things, respond to the general point of the topic)

It wasn't Peter Sellers, it was David Niven.

And if someone believes that something looks off, unnatural or ingenuine about a particular romantic pairing, they're entitled to express it and I say screw you to anyone who thinks they aren't entitled to. And by the way, you insulted people who choose not to support it, so screw you double for your hypocrisy.

Also, they aren't all about simple innocent "attractions" or "love", nor do these two things automatically make a situation perfect. Stop using the same childishly idealistic arguments that everyone else uses defending May-December romances. You make it seem like these type of pairings come with a kind of infallibility that other pairings don't.

You know what they say about May-December relationships. We all know what December sees in May, but what does May see in December?

Usually, Santa Claus!

I am 10 years older than my husband, and we have three daughters, and we have been together for 13 years. To each their own I guess.
