Question about a prop in a scene
I don't know if anyone can help me but I am looking to find out any information about the beer stein that Peter Sellers gets his hand caught in after he burns it on the fire place in the scene where they are all dancing.
What I want to know is what happened to the props after the movie was finished and if they were historical replicas. I ask because my mother had an exact copy of the one Peter gets his hand caught in. She inherited it from a family friend and we haven't been able to find any information about it anywhere until I was watching the movie and there it was.
