No it isn't. The guy in the picture is not Michel Piccoli from the opening sequence as the other poster assumed.

It looks like he has headphones on. Could it be Roger Vadim or someone like that?

In the opening sequence the gentleman is lying the other way, so this would lead me to believe it isn't from Contempt.
