I think Camille.....

I think Camille simply wanted to leave Paul cause she find a rich man(Jerry)who was interested in her but she couldn' t openly tell that to his husband so she find the excuse that she despise him and doesn' t love him anymore because he left her alone in the car with Jerry.
I think the simple truth is that she thought " Uhm, a millionaire is interested in me, that' s mean no more economical problem, an easy life, nice villas, what a great opportunity I must catch it!"
Camille didn' t refuse Jerry attentions, she kissed him, at the end she has gone away with him and when Jerry said to her "stay with me I will care about you" she doesn' t say no but she said "we will talk about it".
Camille and Paul had economical problems, her husband even didn' t have the money for paying the flat, she simple chose the easy life, also other women do the same thing in the real life, they leave their husband or fiancé because they find a richer man.

Why then did she not want to ride with him but with Paul in a taxi?

Their economical problems obviously contributed to the disruption of their marriage, but it isn't that simple. You're completely ignoring the implications of the scene where Camille wants her husband to prevent her from leaving with Jerry. Camille never tells Paul that this bothered her so much, so it isn't something she's using against him. It's actually something she doesn't want to reveal, which is an obvious sign that it really bothered her. Arguing with Paul is the last thing Camille would bother doing if she only cared about his money. She would leave him immediately if she knew Jerry would support her, and continue showing him affection if she didn't (since Paul's financial support is better than none).

I thought the scene where Camille kisses Jerry was obviously set up to demonstrate that she was trying to make Paul jealous. Why would she tell Jerry "We will talk about it" when she asks to support her financially? You're saying she went to all that trouble of killing her marriage only to contemplate it? The reason she says it is because she used Jerry to make Paul jealous but it backfired, since she lost Paul and is stuck with a man she didn't like in the first place.

Yeah, it's because he's pimping her out. He cares more about pleasing the producer and his own career than he does about her, even if he later tries to deny it. Actions speak louder than words.

Don't you think I know that?

I think it's even simpler: Camille is a jerk, Paul is more in love with his career than Camille, and this relationship was in big trouble long before we bought our popcorn.
