Fritz Lang

Wow he made this film with his incredibly little lines. He bought charisma and feelings to the film. He is almost like a mythical human being for me :P

I loved him too. Wise as well as witty and going along his own path rather than being swayed by commercial demands.

He symbolizes everything Godard loves and considers holy in film. He is the moral center of a world gone horribly morally wrong, and in a film in which Homer's Odyssey and Dante's Inferno figure so prominently he becomes very much a mythical figure... which the artifice of film has been known to do, now and again.
