If anyone let their kids do that today the cops and child protective services would be out to arrest you and take your kids away.
The government has no business interfering in how you raise your kids unless you are abusing them!
Letting them learn life's lessons and get a little banged up doing it is not abuse.

I couldn't agree with you more! We have let the govt take over our lives and allowed them to be our "Nanny". As such, I can hear them say "Don't drive without your seat belt, you'll get hurt!" or "Don't smoke in public or you will hurt other people.". WHAT A CROCK! Hell I was born into a house with four one pack a day smokers and I havent gotten cancer from their "Second hand smoke".
