New Jason and the Argonauts movie

Does anyone have information about the new movie set for 2012 "Jason and the Argonauts: The Kingdom of Hades"? If it's true I'm pumped up.

Looked what happened with the new Clash Of The Titans. If that's how you want a new Jason And The Argonauts then go ahead and be pumped. Otherwise, you might want to be skeptically optimistic.

Personally I thought he was being diplomatically pleasant in his comments. I think the idea of re-making this is a pathetically awful idea aswell.

Oh Lord, you gave them eyes but they cannot see...

I didn't say I liked Clash of the Titans. What I meant is because one movie wasn't good, it doesn't mean that they must stop doing movies from that certain genre. I personally as many other people love movies revolving around ancient Greece (I'm greek too). If you don't like them don't watch them. Otherwise what you do is trolling for a movie that isn't even clear if it's going to be produced, and then you call me obnoxious.

You guys are both idiots...arguing over something stupid....

And the smart one popped out with his unquestionable arguments. If you really don't care about such trivial things then don't get in the trouble of posting and evenmore don't call me an idiot.

Anyoen know who the director will be? Would be nice if he could be a son of Zeus..at least he'd know how to cover the "tradition" of the fleece....;-)...I just hope they don't screw it up..

A few people keep attacking the Clash of the titans remake but it really wasn't that bad. Unfortunately some Harryhausen fans seem to think the 1981 film was a masterpiece or something. it wasn't.

I think Skeptically or cautiously optimistic is the way to go. If this new film does happen, it won't be a remake, but a continuation of the 1963 story based on a graphic novel series 'presented' by Ray Harryhausen. There was supposed to be a follow up (and many of the set pieces were designed, but I believe Harryhausen fell out with the producers. It's one of those unfortunate things that happens in films. I doubt he'll be much involved in this film, but the fact that it's based on something he WAS involved in leads me to be cautiously optimistic...
