So Jason uses the golden fleece to save Medea BUT lets his friend, Acastus, die from his injuries from the Hydra?

Acastus tried to shank Jason because he was the son of King Pelias, the man who murdered Jason's father.

Why can't you wretched prey creatures understand that the Universe doesn't owe you anything!?

??? Did we watch the same film?Acastus challenges Jason's authority at every opportunity throughout the voyage and betrays him to King Aeëtes. Jason's not going to waste the fleece on a Judas.🐭
