the 70 mm image is just soooo beautiful, these landscape shots - wow -

At the same time I felt that this extreme widescreen, which often lets the landscapes appear vast and empty, doesn’t match the density of peope in the race too much

I think I would have appreciated it if there were even more and more and more people involved in the race like the poster suggest. There is this huge crowd of people down there at the building, they could have found out about the money and all trying to climb the stairs… The money flying off the building was great, only it didn’t appear as epic as it could have. The ending would have been much stronger if they all nearly killed each other and the hospital was stuffed with all the people - happy because they could get a one dollar note out if it, or so.

My faourite scenes: the two telephones talking to each other and the long dancing scenes with Sylvester while the telephone rings.

this movie looks so insanely lame I can't believe anyone is still watching it still. You should just watch Cleopatra instead, that is insane 70 mm and a masterpiece.

I take it you haven't seen it? Because it is FAR from lame.

I like this movie because it was referenced in an episode of "Mad Men."
