Can you fill us in on the ranch where it was filmed? Was it a set? A real ranch? Is it still there, etc. etc.? Thanks!

No, but I just passed through there last week. I didn't know they had filmed there. And I won't be of any help. But basically I-40 passes through, there is about a mile, maybe only half a mile of houses, a gas station or two, and a few stores and that's basically it. The rest is land and feed lots. It's tiny and stuck in 1960, so it's probably still there lol.

Yep, it looks almost exactly the same. And I meant 287* which turns into 40 in Amarillo.
