The only spooky thing about the dreadful 1999 remake

Awful as the 1999 remake predictably was (and aren't they usually?) is that in the original 1963, the younger woman in the bed from the aging montage actually looks uncannily like Lili Taylor (who would play Nell in the remake 36 years later).

I've seen the original 3 times, but have yet to see the remake. I don't particularly care to because a remake of The Haunting just doesn't sound intriguing to me. It sounds like I'm making the right choice.
