I have searched all of imdb to find who played the little girl in 40 pounds of trouble. I have to believe that she was played by Donna Butterworth.yet she is not credited in this movie.was watching Paradise, Hawaiian Style and there she was.Can anyone verify this information.

She did a really, really good job in this film. Very cute, endearing and sympathetic without trying to be. Just very subtle and natural. Amazing for a five/six year old.
Funny she didn't have a film career after this, since she seemed to be a natural.
Claire Wilcox WAS in at least one movie after "40 Pounds of Trouble" -- she was in "Wives and Lovers" (1963). That movie seems to be quite hard to find, but it also starred Janet Leigh, Van Johnson, Shelley Winters, Martha Hyer, and Ray Walston.
