A Remake?
Now, I'm not a huge fan of a remakes but I think an updated independent film version would be good right about now, don't you think?

Lol. Very positive stuff Bright, I can really sense you're a clever individual.
Anyway, I really wish they'd stop making remakes. I'm sure this would be better than all the other crap they remake, as they often take a great movie and totally ruin it. I think doing the remake of "The Hills Have Eyes" or "When A Stranger Calls" is much dumber than remaking this movie. So this wouldn't be a stupid suggestion as Bright says; no stupider than the shmucks who pitched those remakes. In fact, I think a contemporary version of this movie might even be good.
"You can't out-act me, boy. Don't even try." Alec Baldwin - "Team America: World Police"
I agree with Billy Wilder: they should make remakes of BAD movies, not good ones.
What I am waiting for now is a big-budget reworking of Santa Claus Conquers the Martians, preferably directed by Ron Howard.
