about that Dr...
Finally watched this film tonight. I had some problems with it, but over all thought it wasn't too bad. Got a question though. Why did almost everyone allow the Dr. to treat them like they were his little bitch?

Yeah, I also noticed the doctor pushed his weight a little.
He explains it:
"After all, I am the family doctor, you know..."
Patrick Magee rocks! He has such a menacing presence in his film appearances.
Remember A Clockwork Orange? "Food all right?" "Try the wine!"
"What contest in Hell did I win?" Frank Barone
** John K
I liked Patrick McGee as the doctor. He had a savoir-faire and a faintly menacing quality that was sort of like a benevolent Hannibal Lector. He was sort of like the family's consigliere as well as their doctor.
shareIn the past more so than now doctors were treated with awe and respect just because they were doctors. I'm guessing that's why everyone lets him get away with acting like an arrogant ass.
