William Campbell
Can anyone tell me what William Campbell is doing now? I know from his biography that he'll be 80 years old in October, but there doesn't seem to be any information about him otherwise.

shareFrom Wikipedia dot com:
In the early 1990s, Video Watchdog magazine devoted lengthy articles in three separate issues painstakingly detailing the convoluted production history of this strange but fascinating movie.
Campbell has also obtained cult status for his guest starring roles on Star Trek, appearing once as the mischievous super-being Trelane (in part a parody of Liberace, whom Campbell resembled), and twice as the Klingon Captain Koloth. He appeared at several Trek conventions in the 1980s and 1990s.

As soon as William Campbell (Richard) came on screen the first time, I guessed right away that he was The Squire Of Gothos in original Trek. And I hadn't seen that episode in like forever. Amazing how his voice & face stuck in my mind over the years.
I thought I'd be the first one to post that bit of trivia, but seems you beat me to it. Then I see here on IMDB that he had several other Star Trek roles also. I do remember him in The Trouble With Tribbles too.
William Campbell's character in "The Trouble With Tribbles," Commander Koloth, was so popular that if Star Trek had been renewed for a fourth season there was serious talk as bringing him back as a semiregular. Star Trek's producers thought it might be more interesting to have a recurring Klingon commander as Kirk's nemesis, rather than a different one each time, and Campbell seemed to fit the bill.
shareI met William Campbell at a Star Trek convention many, many years ago. He was drunk and had his arms around two lovely young ladies.
