Portman is the easy choice. She is intelligent and kind of resembles Hepburn. But she is also one who likes to dress down, and rough around the edges at times. Hepburn had the grace, charm, innocence, and looks. I think Keira Knightley is similar. Her accent makes her sound sophisticated and in interviews she can be charming, but she doesn't have cute naivety that Hepburn was able to express.

Audrey Tautou... another beautiful and elegant actress. Although she has done little in the way of thrillers, aside from the awful Da Vinci Code (the issue was not her performance, however). As well as her career-defining turn in Amelie, other memorable roles include He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not, A Very Long Engagement and Priceless.
