Audrey, no one like her today
Are there any actresses out there now that have the same class and elegance as Audrey had?

sharecurrent movie production is no longer in need of such class and elegance. now they prefer tits and gore :(

Applied Science? All science is applied. Eventually.
Tits and gore? Mae West was a star when Hepburn was still in diapers.
I wouldn't say that there is no longer a need for the kind of class and elegance that Hepburn portrayed. Rather, they just are not appreciated by the film financiers the way they once were. A lot has changed in the English-speaking world since the early 60s.
I work with a young lady who almost worships Audrey Hepburn. She also resembles her to an extent, and has appeared as Holly Golightly several times. She and her circle of friends are tremendous present-day AH fans.

Wasn't she exquisite? In addition, she had one of the most beautiful speaking voices ever. I could watch and listen to her any day of the week. After she chose to care for her children and basically act occasionally, she went on to become a great humanitarian with UNICEF. I love and admire her. She was truly one of a kind. Sadly, she died much too young.
shareAudrey Tautou, and she's named after Audrey Hepburn...

It's not "sci-fi", it's SF!
While Hepburn could certainly be annoyingly cutesy at times, she`s nothing compared to Tautou - that woman`s just flat out insufferable.

I think Audrey Tatou is very talented, but there really is NO ONE quite like Audrey Hepburn. I have a 21 year old niece who loves Audrey Hepburn. She appeals to all generations.
shareI'll happily fess up to the fact that I'm not a great Hepburn fan, but she was, I have to admit, hugely appealing in Charade.
The other film I really did like her in was Wait Until Dark.
Audrey Tatou? Really? dont get me wrong she is pretty but I think she isn´t even the prettiest/cutest actress from France, if you want to see a really cute and pretty french actress better google Cecilia Cara (that´s what I call pretty and cute at the same time)or Clémence Saint-Preux or Eva Green. But well that´s a girl´s opinión I guess guys think different and in her movie priceless she was like Audrey in Breakfast at Tiffanys :)
As for Audrey Hepburn well she was been until now the only female actress whose performance I loved very much from the very first scene I saw her which was in the movie Sabrina. And her class is unique to the point thay today nobady has it. No wonder why she is a Hollywood leyend.

Whether she sufficiently "approaches" Audrey Hepburn, the one who most does so today I think is Keira Knightley, who it must be said has been cast in some roles that require something less than class and elegance, to be fair to her. But I would say she comes closest. Jessica Chastain might be another. Perhaps Sophie Marceau?
As for Hepburn, I formerly tended to agree with someone above who said she could be excessively cutesy, and that struck me so as her being in a kind of weirdly assexual way. And I am not talking about her slim, some might say boyish, figure. Breakfast at Tiffany's, Funny Face, My Fair Lady are in short not my favorites. I finally got around a couple of years or so to seeing her in Sabrina, and her range there softened my view toward her quite a bit. Then I saw Roman Holiday last year, and that was very impressive. Finally saw Charade, and I must say I flat out loved AH in it. More sexual, very good timing on her lines, and the class and elegance outweighed the cutesy. Great casting of her, great performance, great chemistry with Grant, who I understand only played in one film with Audrey.
It's not so much AH it's these films. There impossible to be made anymore. They are time capsules that can't be duplicated.
