Can anyone else think of a similar situation in other movies, where a much older actor plays a high school student?
shareI think you've got her mixed up with Ann Margret. Ann Margret was 18 and she played the high school student. Leigh played Dick Van Dyke's girlfriend/business partner. However, Conrad Birdie seemed way too old as the young, hot rock star.

Ann Margaret was 22, not 18, playing a high school student (does the play specify 15?).

Practically the entire cast of Grease who were in their early to late 20s, but especially Stockard Channing, who was 33 playing a high school senior. My friends like to joke that when Rizzo missed her period it wasn't because she suspected she was pregnant but because she was going through menopause. XD

College enrollment is not age specific. There are plenty of 40+ year olds in college. share
