If they ever made a movie version of this show

Jamie Lee Curtis would be perfect in the role of Kate. Larry the Cable Guy could play Uncle Joe. Any number if actresses could be the daughters, perhaps an unknown making a premier.

I was thinking George Wendt as Uncle Joe.

Billie Jo: Kaley Cuoco or Bridgit Mendler
Bobbie Jo: Miranda Cosgrove/or Erin Sanders(Zoey 101)
Betty Jo: Alyson Stoner No other ideas for runner up

Sam Drucker: No clue, any thoughts
Kate: Again, no clue, but won't rule out Jamie lee curtis

Charley and Floyd:Maybe Jim Belushi as Charley, but any ideas for Floyd.

I always thought Celia Imrie could play Kate. She's a dead ringer for Bea Benaderet, and Bob Hoskins could be Uncle Joe, but as he's passed . . . . .

They would ruin it, as they did Lost in Space and Get Smart.

Lost in Space the movie was horrible. But who knows? A Petticoat Junction movie with the right cast members and good writers MIGHT work.
I think the cast members of my choice might be able to pull it off.
