BB is mentioned as the father of the girls and Kate's husband.

Don't know if he is ever mentioned again. Perhaps other readers know and will let us know the episode.

I'm pretty sure Kate mentioned him in the episode "With This Gown I Thee Wed" where she wants Betty Jo to wear her wedding dress in Betty Jo's wedding.

Bill was mentioned again, but not on the show. He went on to play for the New York Knicks and serve in the US Senate.
