Uncle Joe's Chicken Coop Eggs and Drucker Store Eggs?

Uncle Joe has a chicken coop where the hens are laying eggs, yet, Sam Drucker delivers groceries to the hotel and Betty Jo pulls out an egg carton from the bag.

Why would the Bradleys need a dozen eggs from the store if they have a hen house in their backyard? 😃

I saw another carton of eggs being delivered to the Bradleys. I guess they did not have very productive chickens in their coop.
