shareWhat Statman 122 says makes a lot of sense about them thinking season 6 was the last. I'm watching the last ep of season 6 now, yesterday was the one where Dr. Craig says she wants to stay to see Kathy Jo's brother. Today's ep shows Betty Jo is 9 months pregnant! Don't see how that happened when yesterday she wasn't showing at all!
My question is when they started season 7, what the heck happened to the new baby? It's all about little Kathy Jo without any explanation of the new pregnancy! Probably the same explanation for why their mother suddenly disappeared.

That episode still had Kate in the opening credits as the owner, so it was completely out of sync with the series. It could have been that the episode was pre-empted, and lost it's place in the rotation of the season and was never corrected.
shareIt's interesting that the title of the "brother" episode was "Tune in Next Year", making it seem like they had every intention of being renewed.
