I seem to remember Sam Drucker watching television in the store in a Green Acres episode. But not in the Petticoat Junction episodes.
UPDATE: I just saw the episode where Hooterville declares Oliver as king and the Governor comes to visit. Sam Drucker watches a news report on the situation at his store.
In "The Ladybugs," Sally (the fourth girl in their group) mentions watching The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show, and her mother yelling at her to turn it down.
