MeTV has started showing the B&W episodes again,  starting with the very first one, "Spur Line to Shady Rest". Most of the B&W episodes are not available on DVD, so don't miss out.

The next one ("Hide the Railroad!!") is especially choice, showing the cleverness and will of mama Kate.

All of the B&W episodes from seasons 1 and 2 are available on DVD, as well as the first color season. Seasons are about $10 apiece on amazon.
