I liked this episode. Warren Oates played the mutant.

This is one I can't help liking. I have a fondness for the space SF stories... And when I was a very little kid I may have seen this when first on TV, because I remember being afraid of a certain tunnel in the park which reminded me of the cave where the one guy is found dead with a giant alien ant on him.
Nice use of telepathy too.

A boring, disorganized story with dull characters. Oates is wasted. A dog.
