Ducky Mallard!

OK, I know a lot of people know him better as Illya Kuryakin from The Man From U.N.C.L.E., but it's impossible for me to see David McCallum as anything but Donald "Ducky" Mallard from NCIS. It's great to see him in a character role (Gwyllm in "The Sixth Finger", which also features Janos Prohaska in one of his signature ape costumes)

Gwyllm: "Bach will probably outlive us all."

"Oh, well" said Zanoni, "to pour pure water in the muddy well does but disturb the mud !"

In addition to "The Sixth Finger", McCallum also appeared in the
first season's last episode, "The Forms of Things Unknown".

He also appeared in the reboot's 1997 version of "Feasibility Study".

I actually think THE FORMS OF THINGS UNKNOWN was McCallum's best work, and yes I am a Man From UNCLE fan as well...he was just so coooool as the creepy guy in that oddball house!

A shame Vaughn didn't do this show, too as he'd already appeared in another anthology series called "Boris Karloff's Thriller". That way "The Outer Limits" would've had the distinction of featuring Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock, Illya Kuryakin and Napolean Solo.

The first time I saw 'Ducky' Mallard on TV and even as a kid I was extremely impressed with his performance.
