I don't understand. The guy tells Trent the medallion acts as a sling shot and sends them back to the future. The other alien says he's not afraid to die. So they die when they go back?
shareEarlier in the episode, one of the Kyben that came through the mirror announces that the Kyben invaders in the future were dying of some type of biological weapon that the humans had left behind before they were transferred to the copper wire that Trent had in his possession. Going back to the future would mean a likely death sentence for returning Kyben.
