Burke's Law -UK rerun starts in June.

The UK "Performance" Channel is showing "Burke's law" commencing Thursday June 1 twice a day(same episode probably). The channel seems to be running a lot of the series produced by "4 Star Television" in the 50s and 60s and they usually show the lot, which is good news for those who want to see this series again in its entirety!

...from the second season. Aaron Spelling visited the UK during the run of Burke's Law and saw "The Avengers". He became enamored of Honor Blackman and offered her a role in an American Series that became "Honey West". She declined and he hired Anne Francis because he flet she was the closest thing to Blackman on this side of the Atlantic. One of the Blackman Episodes is entitled "Death of a Great Dane", (broadcast 11/7/62). It deals with the staff of a tycoon not annoucing to the world that he has died and running his organization by themselves- for themselves. "Who Killed the Richest Man in the World", (broadcast 11/11/64), uses a similar concept but has a very different story. The premise was used again for a Honey West episode called "Invitation to Limbo", (12/17/65).

I have a feeling we know what Avengers episode Aaron Spelling saw Honor Blackman in. Of course, the Avengers can hardly complain. they redid the same plot themselves in "The L50,000 Breakfast" (10/14/67).
