will this be released on dvd

i am so intrigued by this series primarily because of the numerous guest stars .any chance a release to dvd will happen?

I hope so. About a year ago, I called Spelling Productions to request Burke's Law on DVD. I was told that Fox owned the video rights to Burke's Law. I called Fox, I think that it was the Video Department, and requested that Burke's Law be released. The woman that I spoke with wasn't very interested. Perhaps if more people call and request it, it will happen. It was a wonderful show; so clever. There are some bootleg DVDs out there, recorded off of TVLAND in Canada, but they are exceedingly poor quality.

Burke's Law and Honey West are being released in Great Britain on November 6, 2006; it's so exciting! Unfortunately, I live in the United States. Try this address for info. On Monday, I am back to calling Spelling Productions. If I find out anything, I will post it here.

Hi,
Only if you have a special all region DVD player. From what I have seen on eBay and online, these can be bought for around $100.00. You might want to call Best Buy or Circuit City to find out more. I am not finished hunting yet. If I find out more information about the series, I will post it.

Those more informed than me on upcoming DVD releases,
please let me know if you hear anything about Honey
coming out in America. Thanks !!!

Honey West can be purchased at Amazon UK. Again, these DVDs are for Region 0. I know because I own them. Since they are formatted for Region 0, they will play on any DVD player. These will work in the United States. One More thing, your US Amazon account will work at Amazon UK. ALSO, it is pretty cheap as we do not get charged VAT.

Hi,
I received my Burke's Law DVDs from Amazon UK yesterday. Actually, contrary to what is posted on Amazon UK, the DVDs are PAL BUT they are Region 0 not 2!! I live in the United States and as a rule, our DVD players are not compatible with Region 2 DVDs but Region 0 is another story. I have not played the DVDs on my DVD player yet BUT I did play one on my computer and it played and sounded perfect! HOORAY! I am not a technophile so I don't really understand this; I just thought that I would give it a try and I am so excited because it worked! I hope that this helps other people who are interested in this series.

That it's available in the UK in a format that can't be played in the US when it was a US series. That's like Upstairs/Downstairs bneing available only in the US.

The DVDs from the UK are Region 0. This means that they can be played anywhere as they are region free. These DVDs will work in the US without any problems.

The DVDs that UK's Amazon retailing from Delta in 2011 are PAL Region 2 format. Good chance when US VCI Ent. released to U.S. market that Delta was required to drop Region 0 which plays in all DVD players. Envy you since VCI Ent Honey West Complete Season did not contain the bonus of 1965 Burke's Law titled "Who Killed the Jackpot" which introduced Anne Francis as Honey West. FYI Burke's Law (1994) had Anne Francis as Honey West in episode titled "Who Killed Nick Hazard".

Both Burke's Law with Honey West would be nice bookends making the Honey West series truly complete.

Sorry, what it says on the Amazon UK site is incorrect. When I ordered the Delta DVDs from Amazon UK it said on the website that the DVDs were PAL Region 2. When I received the actual DVDs the DVD covers say PAL and Region O and in fact, the DVDs are Region O. These DVDs play on both of my computers all of my DVD players and all of my friend's DVD players that I have loaned them to here in the US. By the way, the Delta DVDs are the entire First Season of Burke's Law and they are packaged very nicely. If you don't believe me about the Region information order the Delta DVDs and if I am incorrect, I will buy them from you or, if you prefer, send me your email address and I will send you photographs of the Delta DVD covers.
