Burke's Law on DVD - An Update 11/10/07

As of today, here is what I know about Burke's Law on DVD.
You can buy Burke's Law, Season 1 on DVD from www.amazon.co.uk. These DVDs are Region 0. This means that they WILL play on any DVD player. I live in the United States; I have these DVDs and they are great!
If you are an Amazon.com customer in the US all of your sign-in information works on all Amazon sites. Checking out of amazon.co.uk is the same as for the US Amazon. As of today, the total cost, including shipping to the US for Burke's Law, Season 1 comes to 18.37 British Pounds. In today's exchange rate this equals about $40.00. This amount fluxuates according to the exchange rates. When I ordered my DVDs I received them in 3 days!
Delta Music is the company that has released Burke's Law on DVD. Delta Music has also released the complete series of Honey West. Honey West is also released as Region 0 DVDs.
I email Delta Music periodically to ask when they will release Seasaon 2 of Burke's Law on DVD. Delta Music has tried to get the rights to release Season 2 but so far they have been unsuccessful. Hopefully, they will be able to release Season 2 and when they do, I will post it here.

Checked out amazon.co.uk for Honey West Complete - by Delta since it includes the Burke's Law episode that introduces Honey West - Anne Francis. The details stated that the DVDs are PAL format Region 2 for sale. Possible Delta produces PAL Region 2 DVDs because VCI Entertainment markets / sales the US release. Envy you if you have the Burke's Law episode titled "Who Killed the Jackpot?" in Region 0. FYI Burke's Law (1994) also had episode with Honey West - Anne Frances guest starring - first season titled "Who Killed Nick Hazard?". I would like to collect both - would be nice bookends to my VCI Ent Honey West Complete Series - truly making it complete.

The Region info at Amazon UK is WRONG!, Neither the DELTA Honey West or Burke's LAW are PAL. These DVDs are Region 0 which means they play anywhere. I own the DVDs and they are marked Region 0. I play them on everything here in the U.S.

I bought The Saint on region 0 DVD PAL format, and they won't play on region 1 NTSC (North American) DVD players unless they have a PAL converter built in (which many players do, excepting Sony and Panasonic who are in the DVD producing business as well). PAL and NTSC are fairly similar.

This really doesn't have anything do with Burke's Law. The British released version of Burke's Law is by Delta and it is a Region 0. The Saint was originally a British Television show and Burke's Law is an American show. I guess it is up to the company that releases the DVD to determine the format. Whatever, the British, Delta release of Burke's Law is Region 0 and all of you are missing out.
