Only in an Antonioni movie can you stand there and stare at a stranger for so long without getting into trouble. Is it another reference to the failure to communicate and alienation themes?
shareAs a practical matter in that particular scene the fat man was so engrossed by the extent of his market losses that day, he probably did not notice anyone might be staring at him.
