Question about Dill and Jem bet about the Radley house

I'm watching this awesome movie now. I totally love this movie. I noticed in the dialogue between Dill and Jem about if Jem would run up and touch the Radley's screen door. Dill says he would trade Jem a Tom Swift for something if he would touch the Radley's screen door. What does that mean?

A Gray Ghost (by Seckatary Hawkins) against two Tom Swifts. In the book, while Atticus waits in Jem's room for Jem to regain consciousness, he begins reading the book, which Jem won from Dill, to Scout. I looked it up after the last time I read the book and saw the movie. http://www.seckatary.com/

If you don't have time to sit and read a longish novel, or don't do well reading print, get the audiobook read by Sissy Spacek! She really nails the narration and I greatly enjoyed listening to this on my last several long car trips! (Of course, since the story ends on Halloween I made sure to finish on Halloween.) Also, I got the recording for free through an arrangement my local library has with the state library. If you have a device on which to download (which I did from computer to smart phone) see if your library has such a program! (Or just borrow the CDs from your library, rip them onto your computer using iTunes or something, and then download them onto any portable playing device--but if you're going to do that you will need a print copy of the book in case the CDs skip.)
