Completely brilliant
Pierre Étaix's The Suitor is a damn near masterclass in comedy filmmaking, ingenious in its blocking, timing, and choreography, balletic in its movement and physical dexterity. Combine the best of Keaton and Tati and you have this sterling gem. What an absolute shame there are no posts on this board. This was my first Étaix film and I cannot wait to get a look at more now.
