The original score was by Mikis Theodakis, as I remember (my spelling may be barbaric, which as you udoubtedly know, means non-Greek.) I once had a 33rpm LP but I lost three turntables and relegated the LPs to the garage where they warped. The jacket label had Melina Mercouri's face and shoulders rapturated by passion, as distorted through the elements of fire and water (related to the Greek divinities involved in the conflict of the original Phaedra myth.)

So there WAS a soundtrack album at one time. If not currently "in print" or "in vinyl" or whatever the proper term in, might possibly be one from a collector.

I also had (still have I believe) sheet music for the Phaedra theme. Yes, it is haunting. And of course there is sheet music for the Bach organ piece.

So, in 2015...

you can find now the soundtrack on Amazon, for instance (physical form & as mp3 to download). The Bach tune doesn't figure there though.
