Remake?

Most of the people reading this will probably hate me for saying this, but I'd love to see a Ben Stiller remake. Everytime I watch this film I admire it's pure comedy that translates on any level and would work as well today as it did in 1962. The storyline is superb, and could easily be updated. I know everyone says remakes are bad or boring, but face it this storyline has been remade 100 times. It's a basic storyline from various comedys, think of The Other Guys, 21 Jump Street and many other films over the past 50 years.

I'd just love to see Ben Stiller playing Norman Wisdom's part, especially as the hairdresser, both roles would suit the opposite sides of his acting. Plus there are great roles, for other modern comedy actors aswell maybe Will Ferrel or Tina Fey.
