The perfect summer day?
I think Polanski really captured the feel of a perfect summer day. Yes, there's some drama, but aside from that... Eating lunch on the deck, taking a swim, just lying around or huddling up under the deck playing a game during the rain. I knew it wasn't going to last, but I really wanted the film to be just that: Going out on a boat, having a good time. When I sat there in the theatre I could feel the warmth of the sun on my skin, I forgot all about there being snow outside, I just wanted to go for a swim myself. I think I'll get this on DVD, so I can watch it on cold winter nights.
Is this stuff sterile? I want to kill him, not some secondary infection.
