Wow! Thank God!

Unless I'm speaking too soon, I was happily surprised to see no ludircrous discussions on who should star in the next remake of this story. Think of how awful some of the suggestions might be for Fletcher (no, I'm not going to list any names from today's stock of hollywood leading men, er, boys...don't want to get nauseated).

That said I personally enjoy the three versions which starred Clark Gable, Marlon Brando, and Mel Gibson. They were all suitably different from each other but each one had a great cast with great performances.

I see Adam Sandler as Fletcher Christian and Vince Vaughn as Captain Bligh.

I see Adam Sandler as Fletcher Christian and Vince Vaughn as Captain Bligh.

I see Adam Sandler as George W. Bush during his college days.

Make that movie, and we can be done with both of those too-important halfwit slackers.
