Did the logbook of the HMS Bounty survive?

Did the logbook of the Bounty remain with the ship, and was subsequently burned along with the ship off of Pitcairn Island, or did Fletcher give the logbook to Bligh when he set him adrift at the time of the mutiny? In which case it would have ended up back in England...

Bligh (or one of his subordinates) must have made detailed notes about their time in Tahiti. I would think this would make for some fascinating reading.

I think it did survive. Not 100% sure but I seem to remember reading a book that quoted quite extensively from Bligh's log.
However it's possible I have that wrong and the Bligh quotes were made after he returned to England rather than from a log he made whilst on the Bounty.

I believe Bligh took it with him in the launch.
