Captain Billy's Whizbang not yet published

The musical is set in 1912 but Whizbang wasn't published until 1919.
If you are interested someone scanned a bunch of issues at the Internet Archive. You can read them for free. They are like a precursor to Mad Magazine.

Thanks for posting the link! I have a few of them and copied out a few jokes here for people to get an idea of what it was like, a few years ago. Someone asked me to scan a few but I don't have a scanner. This is much better anyway for anyone interested. If it wasn't for The Music Man, I don't think anyone would know of Captain Billy's Whizbang anymore.
