shareI consider myself a romantic and student of the Victorian age. I would still use it if I were to write a correspondence, alas we've passed the years where an "Aut" can be used.

I believe it is spelled "aught" actually.
On The Beverly Hillbillies, Jethro uses the word a lot whenever he's doing his "ciphering." (Or math calculations as we would call it)
