Very enjoyable
I really enjoyed this, and seeing John Wayne and James Stewart together was a treat. Liberty Valance was such a scumbag, my goodness.
All performances were good.
SPOILERS
I'm amazed Peabody survived the beating. Just found it odd that Tom burned down his own house, even when drunk.
The reveal at the end was interesting. Makes you think if there were two shots fired.
All in all a very enjoyable Western.
