Claire Quilty: C--k Blocker

There are a lot more horrible things you can say about Claire Quilty.

Yeah there are plenty of other things you could say, including spelling his name right. Seriously though, Clare Quilty takes pride in being a dispicable pervert. When compared to Humbert he is a regular saint. They are both dirty old men, but so is every male member of the human race. Both are implied to have had relations with both mother and daughter, but Clare Quilty did it without being a manipulative dirty minded liar. He didn't use the mother to prey upon her daughter. Mom and Quilty's trist occurred after a speaking engagement at her club, while his relations with her daughter happened a year later. In fact it was Humbert's own perverted behavior at the hotel that tipped off Quilty to his game in the first place. Takes one to know one, right? I find his C-blocking to be well played.
